Baccalaureate Service

SUNDAY, MAY 20, 2012, 11 A.M.
WAIT CHAPEL

Baccalaureate is a one-hour religious service honoring the graduating class. During the service, an address in the form of a sermon is delivered by a faculty member or respected leader in the religious community.

Tickets are complimentary, but must be reserved in advance. Each graduate is allowed a maximum of three tickets for guests; graduates who march in the processional do not need tickets. Doors open at 9:45 a.m. Seating inside Wait Chapel is limited and available on a first-come basis. A ticket does not guarantee admittance and guests should anticipate a line. In the event of rain, the service will be held as planned. Weather permitting, overflow seating and simulcast viewing will be available on Hearn Plaza.

A picnic buffet will be held on Hearn Plaza following the Baccalaureate service (rain location: Reynolda Hall cafeteria). Tickets must be purchased in advance for guests and graduates. View Menu.

Tickets are not mailed. Tickets should be picked up between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012, or Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the College Bookstore. Students and/or parents need to bring their IDs with them to claim their tickets. More ticket information
