Faculty at Wake Forest Commencement

Commencement Events

Undergraduate Commencement events will take place May 19-20, 2024.

Baccalaureate Service

Sunday, May 18, 11 a.m.
Wait Chapel

Faculty, in academic regalia, will line up at 10:30 a.m. in front of Zick’s for the processional.

Commencement

Monday, May 19, 9 a.m.
Hearn Plaza

Faculty, in academic regalia, will meet at 8:30 a.m. in front of Reynolda Hall to line up for the processional. Faculty will form two lines—one line on each side of the Reynolda Hall stairs.

To ensure we have adequate reserved seats for you, please confirm your attendance no later than Monday, May 12th.

Regalia

Academic regalia is required to participate in a diploma or hooding ceremony. If you require regalia, register before May 12th. Black academic gowns and mortarboards with tassels (no hoods or tams) are available for temporary use for any of the ceremonies. You may pick up regalia on Thursday, May 15th from 2-4 p.m. in the Green Room of Reynolda Hall. Upon completing the ceremony, please return all borrowed regalia to the Green Room of Reynolda Hall.

Pick-up will be Thursday, May 15th between 2-4 p.m. in the Green Room, first floor of Reynolda Hall. Please return your robes after the ceremony in the same place.
