Arrive Early and Be Prepared

Graduates participating in Baccalaureate on Sunday and Commencement on Monday will need to arrive on campus early wearing cap, gown and tassel to line up for each ceremony.

Baccalaureate

Sunday, May 15, 10:30 a.m.

Assemble in cap and gown no later than 10:30 a.m. on Hearn Plaza. Graduates do not need to be in alphabetical order but should assemble according to their degrees:

  • BA degree candidates should assemble in front of the Deacon Shop on Hearn Plaza.
  • BS and all other degree candidates should assemble in front of Subway on Hearn Plaza.

Commencement

Monday, May 16, 8 a.m.

Assemble in cap and gown no later than 8 a.m. according to the degree signage on and around the Manchester (“Mag”) Quad:

  • Graduates should assemble on the Manchester (“Mag”) Quad. Please report to the appropriate degree sign. The alphabet range indicates the first letter of the degree candidate’s last name. University Registrar staff, faculty and student marshals will assist you with the correct lineup order.
