Parking

On-campus parking will be limited and every vehicle must have a Commencement parking pass to enter campus on Monday morning.

University Police will direct guests to available parking.

Additional free parking will be available at Bridger Field House. No pass is needed and shuttles run continuously to and from campus beginning at 6:00 a.m. Either a Commencement ticket or a Wake Forest ID is required to ride the shuttle.

Two parking passes will be included with each graduate’s ticket order. Hung from the vehicle’s rearview mirror, the placard serves as a gate pass throughout Commencement weekend. One parking pass may be exchanged for one Special Needs parking pass at ticket pickup.

Students do not need parking passes if their cars remain on campus throughout the weekend. However, no one including students, can enter campus on Sunday after 10 p.m. without a Commencement parking pass.

Rideshares, such as Uber or Lyft, require a parking pass to enter campus on Commencement weekend. Please advise your driver that there are two entrances that will allow access to campus: University Parkway and Reynolda Road. If a driver is utilizing a guest parking pass, they will need to drop off their guests in the circle lot in front of the ZSR Library.

If a rideshare driver does NOT have a parking pass, they will not be allowed access into campus. Instead, drivers will need to drop off their passengers in the Winston-Salem First Church parking lot across from the Polo Road entrance (which will be gated). Guests are then welcome to ride the shuttle into campus.  Special needs guests utilizing a ride share will need to be dropped off in the Winston-Salem First Church parking lot as this is our special needs parking designation.
