Tickets

Fulfillment of ticket requests is contingent upon successful completion of your courses this term, which is determined by the Office of the University Registrar. Should you fail to meet graduation or participation requirements, we will not be able to satisfy your ticket request.

Ceremony Details

Baccalaureate Ceremony in Wait Chapel at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 17. Tickets are complimentary with a limit of 2 tickets per graduate. The graduate does not need a ticket.  A ticket does not guarantee admittance inside Wait Chapel and guests should anticipate a line. Baccalaureate Brunch tickets should be purchased in advance.

  • Baccalaureate Brunch on Magnolia Patio from 10:00 a.m. to Noon on Sunday ($25 each for graduates and guests), meals can be purchased the day of, please note it is cash only.  ATM are available on campus.

Commencement Ceremony on Hearn Plaza at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18. Tickets are complimentary with a default of 8 tickets per graduate. The graduate does not need a ticket. Commencement Breakfast Buffet tickets should be purchased in advance.

  • Commencement Breakfast Buffet in Reynolda Hall Cafeteria from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 18 ($18 each for graduates and guests), meals can be purchased the day of, please note it is cash only.  ATM are available on campus.

Staff and non-graduating students do not need tickets, but they must show a current Wake Forest ID to attend Monday’s graduation ceremonies.

Note about Special Needs guests who have difficulty tolerating outdoor temperatures, a live feed of the Commencement ceremony will be available in Pugh Auditorium, located on the second floor of Benson University Center. Commencement ceremony tickets are required for admission to Pugh and space is limited.

Every person on campus for the Commencement ceremony on Monday must have a ticket, a current staff ID or a current student ID.

Two parking passes will be included with each graduate’s ticket order

Ordering Commencement Weekend Tickets

All complimentary ceremony tickets and for-purchase meal tickets are available on the online Ticket Registration form. Online ticket registration opens in March and will close on May 1. Only students can register for tickets, and they must register using their “wfu.edu” email account. Each student receives a default of 8 Commencement Ceremony tickets; the graduate does not need a ticket.

The form accepts only one registration per graduate and once the order is submitted it cannot be updated online. As a result, it is important you have your exact ticket count for the following:

  • Baccalaureate Ceremony tickets are complimentary with a limit of 2 tickets per graduate. The graduate does not need a ticket. A ticket does not guarantee admittance inside Wait Chapel and guests should anticipate a line.
  • Baccalaureate Brunch and Commencement Breakfast tickets for guests and graduate, must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable. There is no ticket limit for the brunch or breakfast.

Orders should not be placed until your ceremony and meal quantities are final. Please finalize ticket quantities before you register, tickets are non-refundable.
